Eian completed his senior preceptorship in a fast-paced, complex ICU caring for very critically ill patients. The entire nursing care team on the unit complimented Eian on how he always strives for excellence and is a true team player. They described him as dedicated and always striving for excellence with a calm approach and strong clinical reasoning skills. He was always stepping up to help anyone who needed a hand. He shared with his faculty that when caring for patients who were decompensating, he would look for whatever he could do to help, even if it was a small task to help the team.

Throughout the experience, he worked to develop strong clinical judgment by asking questions and validating his care for patients. He enjoyed the challenge of being a part of the clinical care process and understanding the complexities of each patient's situation. He expressed that he was intrigued by the dynamics of the care required for the critically ill and how it helped him grow as an emerging nursing professional. The staff was so impressed with Eian that they worked hard to convince him to be a part of their nursing care team when he graduates.
