The patient was back and forth to the doctor or emergency for weeks, and nobody took the time or think this could be medication-related. It was Eileen who was a Godsend!
The patient was referred following multiple hospitalizations in the last month (4 according to the daughter in law) He had AV block, and some other cardiac issues, causing him to be dizzy and lose consciousness. Eileen Bennett did a SOC visit on this patient. During her visit, she reviewed all of the patient’s medications, at that time she identified a potential problem. According to the patient’s daughter-in-law, “Due to her diligence and thoroughness, she saved this patient from going back to the emergency again, or possibly even saving his life!!” The patient was back and forth to the doctor or emergency for weeks, and nobody took the time or think this could be medication-related. It was Eileen who was a Godsend! The patient’s daughter-in-law also said that since they corrected his medications, he is less sleepy, more steady on his feet, and feeling much better overall. She asked me to thank Eileen from the bottom of their hearts for taking the time to listen to them.
