I received a liver transplant in 2022. Shortly thereafter I got to know Eileen as she was the transplant coordinator who cared for me and continues to care for me today. For those of us who have had to undergo such a procedure, I suspect that we all share the same feelings of anticipation, hope, fear, and abject terror. Eileen always makes herself available to encourage and comfort me. Not only through her clinical skills which to a nonmedical layman appear to be first rate but also in her words of encouragement that have always eased my mind and allowed me to focus on the job of recovery. Some seven months into recovery I wake up each morning looking forward to the day rather than dreading what crisis I may have to face. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
