Eileen was my clinical instructor for my pediatric rotation at Golisano. I was extremely nervous at first, but she calmed all my nerves. The love that she has for her job and students is contagious. She is always instilling positive thought in our minds and encouraging us that we can get through the challenges of nursing school. I was never afraid to ask questions and I knew that I could excel as a student since she was my instructor. It was because of her that I found and developed my love for pediatric nursing. I learned a lot from her and I can't think of anyone more deserving of this prestigious award. Eileen was my clinical instructor for my pediatrics rotation. She always made sure we learned and understood whatever subject was in front of us. She used every moment as a teaching/learning opportunity. She made me feel as though her students were her number one priority. I learned a great deal from her. She made my time very enjoyable. She should be a role model for other instructors.
