I received a report and found out how Eileen went out of her way to get a patient's service dog to her. This patient was admitted to the floor earlier in the week. When she wasbrought into the hospital, her service dog was set to a holding shelter. Eileen called multiple places and people to get the dog out of the shelter and back to the patient. The service dog was brought to the patient and stayed in the hospital with her. Eileen and other staff members would take the dog outside for walks. She went above and beyond her duties to make sure the patient and the dog were reunited. I just wanted to thank her for all she did. You really make a difference in people's lives.
