The ED had a patient arrive in cardiac arrest. The patient unfortunately did not survive, and upon calling his wife, the staff found that his wife was disabled and had no way of getting to the hospital. EJ spoke with the wife, clocked out from work, and went to pick the wife up so she could be at the hospital to say her goodbyes to her husband. This RN has always been such a caring nurse, and EJ definitely went above and beyond for the wife. This is true compassion, and we are so proud to have EJ caring for our patients and their family members.
