Ekaette Umontuen, RN

Ekaette Umontuen (Kate) is not just an amazing Nurse, but a great person. Kates works so hard for us each day. Kate has stepped up to take on the role of Charge Nurse in our department. Kate did this unselfishly to help not only our department, but coworkers as well. She is kind, fair, professional and gives her all every day. She takes on many additional tasks to enable our department to run smoothly and also takes assignments to help others. She does not complain. Kate has overcome many adversities in her career yet she continues to smile, laugh and provide excellent care to her patients. She says while it has sometimes been difficult, she would not change because it made her the Nurse she is today.
