Not only did she provide prompt and quality care, but she was also there for me emotionally during a very challenging time.
Three days after my baby and I were discharged after she was born, I was readmitted back into the hospital due to postpartum preeclampsia. I was not permitted to bring my baby with me, and my husband stayed home with her to care for her. As a first-time mother and as someone who went through months of infertility treatment to finally bring our miracle IVF baby into the world, I was devastated to be put back into the hospital alone, without my baby. Katerina was my nurse right after I delivered, and then she was my nurse again when I was readmitted. She remembered me right away. On my second day in the hospital, I learned that my grandmother passed away unexpectedly. Katerina sat with me, talked with me, and helped me through this emotionally challenging time when I was in the hospital alone, afraid, and grieving while my husband cared for our baby at home. Not only did she provide prompt and quality care, but she was also there for me emotionally during a very challenging time. When I think back to this time in my life, I will remember Katerina’s compassion and how she helped me get through a very emotionally difficult time during my early postpartum journey. Thank you Katerina!
