Elaine was the first nurse assigned to our care when I arrived for induction. She was smiling and friendly from the first moment we met and she never stopped being caring and compassionate throughout her shift. Elaine explained everything she did for me from vitals to labs to what to expect throughout the process. She stayed in the room with us and got to know who we were and what we wanted our birth experience to be like. I am a teacher and I felt like Elaine went above and beyond to ensure that I was involved in the decision-making process regarding my care. It was obvious to my wife and me that Elaine LOVES her job and she excels at providing the best care for her patients. It was a pleasure to meet her. It was important to us that everyone who entered the room washed their hands in front of us. Elaine not only respected that request, but she ensured that all the other nurses and staff were aware and complied as well.
