Elcy George 2, RN

Elcy embodies everything one could want in a nurse. I was a patient in her unit for 1 week following major surgery. Although everyone on the team was competent, Elcy's care really stood out. Through her deep compassion and caring, she established a meaningful connection with me that made a huge difference for me during my time in the hospital. In addition to being a highly-skilled professional, she was attentive, empathetic, compassionate, and thoughtful. She was proactive in her care, giving real thought to what she did, and she listened to me carefully and thoughtfully. With her, I felt confident that everything possible was being done to relieve my pain, discomfort and anxiety. I am deeply grateful for the special care she provided, and I will always remember her.
