It is my pleasure to nominate this special RN who floated to MSU recently. I felt it was very important to recognize her for her professionalism, hard work, and great attitude. This RN was supposed to work on MSU 6 am-10 am. She had never worked on the unit before and had a quick orientation. I checked on her and she said she was good and "will figure it out and make it work". Not only is she over 60 years old, but she also took care of the COVID-19 PUIs (patients under investigation). She never complained or refused to care for the patients that were assigned to her. Her can-do attitude and professionalism speak volumes of her character. She was a team player and is a great example of what we need in this time of chaos and uncertainty. She ended up staying to help us until 2:30 pm when we got more coverage. I would like to recognize Eleanor for the compassionate care she provided for our patients and staff!
