I would like to nominate Sister Eleanor, an extraordinary healthcare professional, for her exceptional qualities, dedication, and compassionate care that she consistently displayed during my extended stay in the hospital. There are numerous reasons why Sister Eleanor is truly special and deserving of recognition. Her unwavering support, patience, and attentive nature made a lasting impact on my well-being, making her an exceptional caregiver. Throughout my hospitalization, Sister Eleanor played a pivotal role in my recovery by providing not only physical care but also emotional support. One aspect that stood out was her unwavering encouragement for me to eat, even when I was reliant on a nasogastric (NG) tube for nutrition. Instead of viewing the NG tube as a hindrance, Sister Eleanor saw it as an opportunity for me to regain strength and nourishment.
