Eleanor's nomination included a description of her impact on a particular patient who was having a challenging time with his admission. He complimented her patience even though she had several other patients but she made him feel like he was her only patient. He described her as cheerful and knows how to carry on a great conversation. He went on to say that he felt like she was an Angel sent to uplift his mood. He described her as someone he would like to take home with him to help care for him because she is very compassionate and attentive.

In addition, the nominator wrote: On a unit as complex as Med/Tele, Eleanor has managed to make an impact on every patient that she cares for. One patient described her as "A KICK". She is known for being attentive and always taking her time to explain things to her patients. "She is caring, efficient, and anticipates my needs," according to one patient. Eleanor embodies the true definition of a nurse. Compassionate, caring, amazing, dedicated, knowledgeable, and cheerful.
