My 93 year old, very independent, sweet, charming, strong-willed and headstrong grandmother was so charmed by Elena and impressed with her competence that she would obey every word of advice given by Elena - not an easy feat! Elena showed such remarkable kindness, genuine concern, competence, judgment, and emotional intelligence in reading and caring for my grandmother and those of us who were there supporting her. We were and are truly grateful. Thanks Elena!

My husband's 93 year old mother was admitted after a fall Christmas night where she broke her arm and femur. Elena quickly established a deep level of trust with her, explaining procedures taken with understanding, compassion and warmth. She was not only attentive to the patient but also to the family, answering numerous questions. Elena willingly made phone calls to other workers to facilitate her care when there was a breakdown in communication. We are grateful for her compassion, making my mother in law's visit as pleasant as possible.

No one wants to spend Christmas night in the hospital, but especially not a 93 year old spunky grandmother who adores Christmas. My grandmother was admitted with a broken arm and hip. She was incredibly confused and wanted nothing more than to leave. Elena made my grandmother feel at ease, facilitated communication among physicians and other staff and also took time to check in on all the family members. She is such a gift!
