Elenais anexceptional nurse. She displays a high degree of integrity and ambition andgoes above and beyond the call of duty. She is very gentle and caring and she can always calm patients whom are anxious and restless. Elena is a team player who could always be counted on to put in more than her share of the work. She has a wonderful rapport with the doctors, new employees, student nurses, patients and families. She is often precepting newly hired staff and they compliment her calm, eager to teach and excellent service she gives our patients/families. Elena is often in charge when no management team is on and exemplifies what a leader is. She is always there to help her colleagues who are in need of help, and all the staff enjoys working with her. Elena's combination of intelligence, commitment, perseverance and compassionate character needs to be recognized.
