Elena Kotarski, BSN, RN, CMSRN

Elena Kotarski was my night nurse. She was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, kind, and understanding. I had a hysterectomy and was in a tremendous amount of pain and didn’t feel well enough to go home and I was feeling bad that I felt bad and weak. She told me I didn’t have to leave if I didn’t feel like I could and also helped me advocate for drugs that were acceptable for my bleeding condition and could help with the pain. She helped with heat packs, a belly wrap, walks to the bathroom, and in ways she doesn’t even know. Elena went over and above; for her I’m grateful.
