I am so grateful that Elfie was my nurse during the first several days that my husband had to go home. Elfie's kindness radiates through all her actions. She is sympathetic and patient with her patients. So many times, I didn't want to bother her by asking for more ice but Elfie either already knew I would need it or would always say, "I will get that for you, no problem." She would run off and return in moments. Elfie makes her patients feel like family. She has a perception of what is needed and always does before you have to ask. I also don't think I had to use my call light once while on her shift. Elfie is a healing Nurse Angel. She brightened my day and her strength encouraged my spirit. I am so thankful for her kindness and her amazing skills.
