Elham Shaker Al-Sherif, RN
Health workers are the frontliners during the pandemic due to Covid-19. Nurse Elham is one of those health workers who risked their lives to ensure the safety and recovery of the patients. She is a married woman, but unfortunately, her husband suddenly left her and fled back to Sudan to save himself from Covid-19. But this did not weaken Nurse Elham, instead, it was her motivation to be stronger not only for her patients but especially for herself. She still bravely fulfilled her responsibilities as a health worker. She fearlessly and unequivocally addressed the patients affected by Covid-19 and helped them recover. Every day she is risking her life to help her patients. People like Nurse Elham can be considered modern heroes during this time. She is willing to sacrifice her own life for the sake of her fellow man.
