Eli has gone above and beyond his responsibilities as a nurse. He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and did not hesitate to help in any way. This included cleaning her, listening and watching for her needs and being very understanding. Mrs. L is 80 years old, but that did not deter his optimism for her ability to pull through this ordeal. As her situation improved, he got more and more excited about her recovery. I thought for a moment, he was part of the family. When they extubated her, I saw the joy in his smile!! He never complained or acted tired even at shift change, and he always answered our questions without getting irritated. He has great compassion for others and that can only come from someone with a pure heart.
We commend all nurses for what they do, and all the nurses that helped care for Mrs. L were amazing but Eli is above amazing! He was a gift from God for Mrs. L and our family. Thank you, Eli, for all that you do and all that you are!
