Elisa Lemmon made an impact on my family during my mother’s hospital stay. My mother speaks very little English, and this nurse went above and beyond to ensure she felt informed and comfortable with her care. She took the time to sit with my mother and carefully review all of her medications, including her diabetes medication. She explained what each medicine was for in a way my mother could understand, showing patience and kindness throughout the process.

She also came to teach both of us how to give insulin injections in preparation for going home. I was nervous about being the one to give the injections, but she worked closely with me, step-by-step, until I felt confident. Her calm, supportive approach made all the difference during a stressful time. Elisa showed extraordinary compassion, professionalism, and dedication to my mother and me. She not only cared for my mother as a patient but also empowered me as a caregiver. I am truly grateful for the care she provided.
