My husband’s cancer journey began 10 months ago, with continual hiccups, dips and valleys. When he began chemo (which is beyond overwhelming) we were introduced to our nurse, Elisa. She is the absolute comfort we feel, to get through this. Elisa is outstanding in explaining each step, each med, side effects, numbers, why and how, all in such a manner that we are able to understand. She laughs, she’s entertaining, she listens with compassion and kindness, and she makes my husband have faith in it all…and he says she couldn’t be any better at what she does. A person that we will never forget from this journey.
