We were waiting for our son to be admitted for his operation, he was only 2 years old at the moment and was restless, he did not want to cooperate in putting on his hospital clothes, it was a very stressful process for us, but nurse Elisa empathetically told us not to worry, that when the kid fell asleep, they would change his clothes.

From the moment Elisa welcomed us, she was very attentive to M, she gave him a tour of the operating room, made him a balloon with a glove, and stuck some stickers of stars, suns, and clouds drawn by her. She put a little fish on the tube where the medicines go through to distract him and calmly gave him his premedication.

Before the surgery started, she also brought him some coloring sheets and markers, and during the procedure, she took the time to paste them on the walls of the recovery room, so that when he was awake, he could see them.

There were endless activities that she pulled out of her sleeve, which really made M's time in pre-op go faster for him and less stressful for us, details that may be simple, but made M's stay, and ours as parents, easier and more pleasant. My husband and I have no words to thank Elisa for such beautiful details she had with our son!
