Today my husband and I's lives were flipped upside down. As medical professionals ourselves, we were on the other side of the bed for the first time, and I must admit, it’s a nerve-racking place to be. In the midst of what could have been a Code Stroke, that thankfully wasn’t, Elisa Stiglitz was the calm in the storm for us. Elisa was a kind, genuinely compassionate face, and presence. She kept us updated as things progressed and treated us as if we were people, not just a number during her day. She was efficient, while also taking time to talk to us and explain the processes. As a nurse myself, Elisa is the type of nurse I aspire to be daily, and we are so thankful that The Lord placed her in our lives today. Words cannot do justice to her kindness and hard work to give my husband the best care!
