Elisa Veley, RN

I was admitted to Medical Four. Elisa was my admitting nurse and met me in my room as soon as I arrived. She spent more than an hour admitting me, assessing me, and making me comfortable. She left only after all my orders were correct and I had my menu to order lunch. She checked in on me frequently and even made me a cup of tea to help my throat. Being a nurse myself, I felt that she treated me with empathy and respect. She looked at me and didn't stare at her computer during her admission process. At the end of her shift, she even offered me a "lifesaver", to which I responded, "you are my life saver today!"
