This took entirely too long to sit down and write, as what I have to say cannot be adequately expressed in text. I fell and could no longer stand. Pima County transported me and during my stay, I smiled but I never showed distress - my nurse I believe could see right through it. They found numerous issues from intense dehydration, to acute liver disease (apparently not "failure", as these days I'm rocking the world as 6'6 340# tattooed biker guys often do - though yes changed my diet, no alcohol, losing weight etc. The Squatch won't be stopped!) Why do I feel the contact was so positive? My nurse - she was my contact with the world.
I have no family, and IBM laid me off not too long ago, so I was pretty much alone. Elisabeth 'Liz' showed compassion for this big lug - she checked in, brought me to my tests, and I think she even laughed at me one day when I sat up and made a text out of my bedsheet. I am not so sure I would have recovered so quickly without her, and people like her in both the North and South Locations. If you can get this to Liz, please do! People like her need to know how much they heal their patients, by simply being there for them. Thank you for your time, I have managed teams for 26 years, and award or not, a nice word to her from her Supervisor would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Elisabeth A, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
