Bex cared for a stroke patient who had become depressed. She was able to encourage and motivate him to start to care for himself. She came in on one of her days off because he was going to be in the healing garden and he asked for her assistance. Bex supported this patient with compassion and care. When the patient was being discharged she came in to assist with his discharge. The family told me that Bex made such a difference to this patient and the entire family.
