Elisabeth greeted me with a smile after a 3-hour drive from out of town to visit my mom in the hospital. She was very sweet and kind. She helped me tie the gown that I had to wear before entering the room to see my mother. She was trying to get as much information from me as she could, to better understand my mom’s health. The more we talked, I could tell she was going above and beyond to help. I knew when I left the hospital that my mom was in great hands. Elisabeth is going to change a lot of lives. She is a special one for sure. You could tell by her caring ways that she truly wants to be the best nurse she can be. She deserves this DAISY Award, you’ve already won by having her on your staff at Holzer. My 83-year-old father is also in here for COVID. She showed my father very good care. She is a pure-hearted professional. She made a tough situation a little better.
