Our mother was hospitalized with a fractured pelvis. She had uncontrolled pain for four days. She was being managed by her family doctor. Beth recognized that additional pain management was needed and sought a consult with the doctor in the Meritus Pain Center. This took numerous calls to the family doctor, but with the help of the nurse manager, she was able to finally get the consult. Once Dr. A saw our mother, her pain was managed and kept under control. Without Beth's input and persistence, our mother might still be in pain. Thank you, Beth.
