"I just wanted you to know I thought last night's group meeting was very special. I know you don't want to be the leader but in a way you are. You had so much warmth and kindness especially for J's family, the new couple, and for me. You helped us all make them feel loved and cared for. I always thought you were a neat person but you really shined last night! I am sure everyone felt better for having come to the group."
