Elisabeth is nothing short of spectacular. She hit the ground running from day one. She quickly filled our staffing void as a PRN in Wound Care and became a favorite of both staff and patients. She never hesitates to take on any task. A certified chemotherapy nurse, when administration asked if we could administer monoclonal antibody infusions, Elisabeth said "I want to do it." and has since developed and administered the entire program. During a recent staffing shortage among the vascular access staff, she volunteered to assist the nurse who was alone and overwhelmed with four consults at the end of the day. She is flexible and has often bounced between three departments in one day and never complains or hesitates to jump in whenever and where ever she's needed. She has come in on her days off to provide specialty infusions and performed countless other selfless acts for both patients and staff. Elisabeth is without a doubt the picture of a team playerand the definition of patient advocate.
