When you ask Elise a question, she will find a prompt answer for you and if you have a concern, it is acknowledged and acted on quickly.
Elise Ingram is an incredible leader for our area. One of the greatest things she does for her staff is checking in on all of her employees every day, even as early as 5:30 am for night shift and into the morning for day shift. She answers all questions and chats with us about work, personal life, anything we want to talk about.

Elise alwys has a smile on her face with a cheerful and positive attitude. It is motivating for the last hour or so of my shift. She has created an environment among our team to be supportive and open with each other, therefore allowing us to work as a close team and providing the best care for all of our patients. She strives to motivate us to get involved and follow through with our questions and turn our concerns into action and change. When you ask Elise a question, she will find a prompt answer for you and if you have a concern, it is acknowledged and acted on quickly.

Recently she created a support group for those who are in graduate school and working. She reached out to all departments in the hospital, for us to get to know each other and be able to share concerns and ask questions and know that others are going through the same things. Elise and the leadership team are very considerate of each staff member, and are positive influences to those of us at the bedside and inspiring us to be the best Nurses we can be.

I have had many managers in the past, and she is one of the best managers I have ever had. I feel comfortable talking to her about anything, both positive and negative, and I know that I will get an answer or get closer to getting an answer or solving a problem I may have. I have shed tears in front of Elise and only received comfort and support and encouragement from her. Starting in a new department, I felt supported and reassured every step of the way.
