I had a long stay with my husband in Sentara Norfolk, who had been sick for over a week. We met several nurses. But Elise stood out. My husband had a procedure under her care. I could see how she handled everything compassionately yet professionally. She went above and beyond in her care. No other nurse has done that during our stay. She even asked how I was doing and offered any help I may need to get comfortable. She even brought food for me on the day of the procedure because she knew I had not eaten all day. We wish her the best.
