We had a patient come in that was a case of neglect. Her hair was so matted and nest-like that washing it didn't help. Liz Bessey took the time to cut the patient's hair and wash her hair a number of times. Even the doctors took notice. The patient looked like night and day. The patient was given her dignity back and could not stop thanking Liz for the way she made her look and feel.
