An RN in the SICU received a patient from Elizabeth, an RN in PACU. After receiving the patient, the nurse realized that Elizabeth had gone above and beyond in helping the patient's spouse. The patient had been involved in an accident and came by ambulance. The wife came in the ambulance with her husband. April gave the wife something to eat. After her shift ended, April took the wife to Target to get toiletries to use while she was staying here with her husband. Not only did April take her to Target, but she also purchased the items since the wife had limited funds.
