When taking care of my dad she had the daunting task of not only keeping his blood pressure to a certain level, but she also had to keep him comfortable. He had had a stroke after open heart surgery. Liz worked tirelessly to ensure that his pressure stayed as level as possible. As this may not seem as it is a big task the goal was to get my dad off the vent. She walked out to make a phone call and when on that call you could see the extreme amount of stress and care on her face. It’s like nothing I’d ever seen before from a nurse. She was very thorough explaining to us everything that was going on, and why she was doing everything that she was doing, while still keeping her level of professionalism and posture. Our family cannot be more grateful for the level of care and dedication that she gave to our father in the most critical time of his care. She will forever hold a place in our hearts.
