Our 14-year-old son was brought here after he had his appendix removed at another hospital. My wife was the only one permitted to be with him at that hospital. To say the least, we were worried and hurt by how we were treated there. Then we came here. The nurses on 6B are awesome, but Beth really stands out. I can't imagine how my son felt being poked and prodded by strangers, let alone having women look at his rectal drain plug. She made him and us feel so comfortable and at ease each and every time. I'm familiar with doctors and nurses and understand it is not always feasible to devote time; however, she manages her time wonderfully among all her patients and still makes all of us feel special. Through my profession, I understand people and their behaviors. What she has is a beautiful personality and extreme command and knowledge of her profession. In such a short time we have really bonded with Beth. She is an asset who cannot easily be replaced.
