Liz works hard every day to be an effective resource for her colleagues, as well as a driving force for improvement and change. She accomplishes these things through the use of her project management skills and vast knowledge of all things regulatory.
Liz wears many hats at Rochester Regional Health. Not only is she a Director of Nursing in Ambulatory Care, but she is also the Magnet Program Director and is a Director of Regulatory Preparedness for Ambulatory (Clinical Network). She works hard every day to be an effective resource for her colleagues, as well as a driving force for improvement and change. She accomplishes these things through the use of her project management skills and vast knowledge of all things regulatory. Liz often sets example for others through practicing the tenets of RRH's new Purpose, Vision & Values. For instance, some days, she can be found in her scrubs doing tracers, where she is not afraid to dive right in, checking for expired supplies (serving as one), and correcting any issues on the spot when possible. She assists Ambulatory teams with everyday regulatory preparedness (embracing tomorrow, today), ultimately increasing staff & patient safety. During the recent DNV visits, Liz tirelessly represented RRH when speaking to the surveyors, answering their many questions confidently and professionally through use of her vast knowledge base.  Liz played a vital role in helping RRH complete yet another successful DNV survey for 2024, and subsequently achieve ISO Accreditation for four hospitals within the system!

Liz is known to the system for her vast knowledge and expertise in clinical regulatory compliance and Magnet.  She is a nurse whose leadership is the beacon of quality care and improving patient outcomes.  She spends countless hours investigating, researching, and testing the elements of nursing practice to ensure our system has the very best data and competency to care for our community.  She is a mentor and role model to all and gives frequent guidance and learning with Liz and direction regarding the most difficult situations. We have seen on multiple occasions when situations are challenging and potentially impossible, where she has been part of the solution and one of the first to don scrubs and jump right in.  She clearly aligns with and is a true example of the Nursing Professional Practice Model.  It is an honor and privilege to work and learn with Liz.
