Elizabeth Castillo, BSN, RN

I was brought to the Resurrection Medical Center emergency department. My blood pressure was too high, being over 200. The ambulance brought me to the hospital and put me in the waiting room. I was introduced to nurse Elizabeth Castillo. My daughter and son arrived, and she treated us all like we were her family. Elizabeth made me feel comfortable and well cared for. I was very concerned for my husband, who was left at home with a caregiver as he was in hospice. Elizabeth treated me with understanding, kindness, and professionalism, always with a smile on her face. Anything I asked for, she was very gracious. She made my son and daughter comfortable, offering a smile and coffee. She was constantly checking on me while I was waiting for a room to see if I needed anything. My family and I were very impressed that despite having such a demanding job, Elizabeth was an angel true to her calling! God bless her!
