Christi was recognized by a patient's family for providing exceptional care and compassion for their father, a naval veteran.
Christi helped arrange transport from ICU to a Hospice facility for the patient to be able to visit with his wife of 63 years. The family wrote, "The smile on her face, and on his face, as they held hands and visited for 4 hours was truly priceless." Little did the family know that this would be the last time they would be together. Their mom passed away at Hospice a short time after this visit. The family is forever grateful for the support and understanding of their love story that Christi showed. The family spoke about how comforting it was when Christi cared for their dad, always with a smile and treating him with dignity and respect.
The family wrote, "She will not be forgotten by us, she will always hold a special place in our hearts."
