All of the SICU nurses have been wonderful, but she saw my husband through his darkest hours. When he wanted to give up, she helped him make a plan to go on. She brought in Dr. S and they helped my husband plan to get better. When he was convinced he could not swallow, she got him to drink water, then swallow pills. (I was amazed!) When he was exhausted, she helped him get a solid 4 hours of sleep. When he was intubated, she found a way to communicate. She got him into a chair when his physical therapy was accidentally dropped. She is truly an exceptional nurse and person.
