Nurse Liz is simply wonderful. I came in for a procedure, and she was so warm and kind, explaining everything that needed to be done beforehand and helping me feel comfortable and reassured. I was glad to learn she would also be part of my recovery because I had quickly come to trust her. After the procedure, I experienced an unexpected complication and was frightened. There were many people involved in my care, but the only person I focused on was Liz. She was right there beside me, calm and reassuring, helping me through a scary and uncertain time. She advocated for me, made sure my concerns were heard, and helped me feel safe when I needed it most. What meant even more was that her care didn’t end there. Liz checked in on me several times throughout my recovery, continuing to offer support and encouragement. Her compassion, expertise, and genuine concern for her patients are extraordinary. Liz is a treasure to Providence, her coworkers, and, most importantly, the patients whose lives she touches every day.
