Elizabeth "Dawn" Geest, RN

Elizabeth "Dawn" Geest is a one of a kind nurse, from her experience within Labor and delivery, to assisting many high-risk pregnant moms and now managing the walk-in clinic. She continues to have that spark in her for her patients. While collaborating with her on many different topics she continues to ask herself, what would the patients need? What could I do to assist them? She takes these statements and brings them to her employees as well, continuing to assist and coordinate their needs for the clinic to run smoothly and have great employee satisfaction. She continues to follow her intuition and anticipate her patients’ needs with her quick assessments and split second decisions, which often resulted in life saving outcomes. Dawn is a strong nurse leader serving our wonderful patient population and her growing clinic staff to assist in our ANTHC vision of Alaska Natives being the healthiest people in the world.
