On a daily basis, Elizabeth displays compassionate, patient-centered care. One day, in particular, she had a patient who she found out was homeless and did not have any personal belongings or clothes. The following day she came in on her day off to drop off a bag of her husband's clothes for that patient. The patient was discharged the following day wearing the clothes that Elizabeth had brought in for him. Elizabeth went above and beyond to care for this patient, even when she was "off the clock". She truly exemplifies all the qualities of a DAISY Award Nurse and is always a joy to work with.
