Elizabeth has a clear understanding of evidence-based practice and how it relates to the best nursing care for our patients. She encourages not just me but all of her staff to participate in activities and committees to better UMC. She is a genuine and caring person who is empathetic to the needs of her patients, physicians, and staff. She exhibits a strict adherence to the policies and protocols of the hospital yet is supportive, fair, and consistent with all staff. I believe she is committed to making UMC the first Magnet hospital in Nevada. She has an open-door policy for everyone. She considers everyone who walks through the doors of UMC her customer and treats us all with respect and kindness. I can honestly say she is the best manager I have ever had. She is a true DAISY Nurse Leader.
