Ms. Fisher serves as the program manager for the wound ostomy and continence team. In this role, she is required to maintain multiple certifications, demonstrate complex skills in multiple specialties, track and analyze data related to patient care outcomes, work with interdisciplinary team members, and respond to the needs of veterans across the continuum of care. She is being honored during National Certification and Wound Care Nurses Week for her continued dedication to patients and a model of professional excellence.
