Elizabeth has been such a great influence in my personal life and illness. As a diabetic, I had lost control of my blood sugar for at least a couple of years. I had other nurses and was not successful in gaining control of my diabetes. In just a matter of weeks, Elizabeth helped me to conquer my problem through her patience, caring, and interest. She made me feel as if I was just talking to my best friend. Obviously, not only due to her knowledge and training, she has the ability to connect. Due to her hard work and interest, this made me try harder to follow her instructions. It almost felt as if I was doing this for her. I wanted to make her feel proud of me and that I was being successful with her guidance.
