Elizabeth K Flint, RN

Elizabeth Flint was one of the best nurses that I have been assigned to. She was able to gauge my ability as a student and increased my workload and responsibilities whenever she deemed it safe and after watching me do a specific procedure once. She doesn't accept "I don't know" and will have me explain to her what I am thinking, and to think about the anatomy/physiology/pathology. An example is how to do blood cultures which order you draw them and other specifics. At first, I immediately went "I don't know".  She then had me do it step by step to her. At the end, I was able to explain fully how to do it. she then added some tips and tricks and honed down the guidelines nurses must follow. Anyone who has her is lucky and will quite honestly love every shift they go to. She is an above-top-notch RN and an even better natural preceptor and teacher.
