Elizabeth was caring for a patient that had become incontinent during a seizure. The patient was to be discharged home. Instead of sending the patient home in freezing temperatures while wearing paper scrubs, Elizabeth contacted BHU and asked if the patient's clothing could be washed and dried on the unit prior to the patient leaving. This allowed the patient to be discharged in clean warmer clothing.
