I was a patient in Southern Ocean Medical Center for 4 days, due to serious diverticulitis with heavy bleeding.
I am 81 years of age with a medical history of 7 major operations and suffer from heart and kidney failure. As a result of my condition, I have extensive experience over the years with hospital and nursing care, which qualifies me to recognize an extraordinary nurse in Liz Kraut.
I have never encountered a nurse as professional, knowledgeable, conscientious, understanding and caring as Liz.
Her care was truly extraordinary and amazing! In an extremely difficult and invasive situation of my life, Nurse Kraut guided and helped me through both medically and emotionally with her totally unselfish and brilliant care.
I hope that the fact she must be part human, part angel, doesn't disqualify her.
I shall never forget her kindness!
