Beth Kudrick is a full-time Case Manager & preceptor for the VNA Health Group South Team C63. She has worked for our organization since 1994. The three strongest characteristics describing Beth are: she uses evidence-based practice to achieve positive patient outcomes, shares skills & knowledge with colleagues & students, and delivers competent & compassionate care. Beth provides outstanding care to her patients, who love her calm demeanor & extensive expertise in community health nursing. We receive many letters & phone calls from patients complimenting the care received by Beth. Some examples of patient/families compliments are "She is the most caring & compassionate person I've ever met," "We will forever be grateful for Beth & the VNA and the love and care that she has shown," and "We feel so lucky that you sent Beth to our home." As a preceptor, Beth has trained many of the current nurses on Team C63. She is described by them as "consistently going above and beyond for her patients" and "doing the seemingly little things" to bring her patients an additional sense of comfort and dignity while under her care." For Beth, it is not about getting the job done quickly or fast, as she takes her time to ensure she gets the job done right. I have found that most of the nurses Beth has trained follow in her footsteps & aspire to practice community nursing as she does.
